Lifelong learning - report for student exchange abroad

For students who participate in student exchange abroad. In their preparation there is an assignment to do a report of their stay. They have given questions to answer before and during their stay. Most of the assignments are done by recording with the application Flipgrid and some through pictures, text. The questions are based on Key competences of Lifelong Learning and lead the students to focus on varies topics during their stay. The students who have chosen not to go abroad can still do the course by doing Domestic assignments with virtual comparing a destination country. The assignments are in Finnish, Swedish and English. If the students decide to do the assignment in a foreign language they also get credit points in Communication and interaction, foreign language English, second language Swedish and Swedish speaking finns in Finnish or English.

Flipgrid-application is a practical application for recording because it is provided by Microsoft, it is free and easy to use even by phone. By recording you can have your phone with you all the time and do the assignments before and during their stay abroad and not afterwards like the case was before when the assignments based on written tasks.
